Here are some images of the original source material and inspiration of this project. 

Sal Reda

The Godfather Typeface is a project inspired by handwritten letters from my Godfather. I collected these letters over multiple years. ​

Typeface Design

The Typeface was drawn and kerned using Adobe Illustrator, iFontMaker and an IPAD PRO. 

​

Typeface keeps a relatively high x-height and some upper case letterforms have an exaggerated overhang. The ascenders of some charters are fast loopy to show the quickness of the handwriting.
